Season Two picks up in January, with Cole above the Arctic Circle and Jess and Mara in a city that feels larger without him. It is the season of distance and letters and a video call at midnight and a flat with a pear tree in the corner of the garden that nobody could walk away from once they'd seen it.
Together, the two seasons form a single complete story — the kind that doesn't ask for your permission before it gets under your skin and stays there.
